Hello, Darlings!
Today we are closing out our series with Wardrobe Basic-Fashion Tool Kit To Avoid Fashion Disasters. I want to share with you some items you will want to have on hand for your “fashion tool kit”. These items will help you out in a fashion emergency.
Yes, fashion emergencies happen and can ruin your evening. There is an old saying “there is nothing that duct tape can’t fix”. Well…. we can do better than that.
Wardrobe Basics- Fashion Tool Kit To Avoid Wardrobe Disasters

I actually keep these items in a box in my closet labeled Fashion Tool Kit. It is handy to keep them in one place so you know where they are in a panic.

Fashion Tape

Better than duct tape, Fashion Tape is double-sided tape, perfect for taping down a top that will not stop gaping or fixing a hemline that is torn. I have even used it to “glue down” bra straps that want to fall off my small shoulders.
Bra Strap Clips

Eliminate the Hassle of Falling Bra Straps – Easily adjusts to fit any height, and the clips will keep bra straps in place and well-hidden. I have small shoulders so I am constantly having to deal with bra straps that are falling off.
Zipper Helper
If you live alone or travel, this little tool can be a great addition especially if you wear dresses or boots with zippers. Zipuller Dress And Boot Zipper Assistant makes opening and closing those hard to reach zippers easier. You might want to take this tool along if you are trying on dresses in the dressing room. Nothing is worse than having to try to get a salesperson to help you out of a dress. (been there…. done that… it was humiliating)

Lint Brush

It is the “black pant season”. This means that every hair, lint, fuzzy ball, dandruff, pet hair, etc will show up on your pants like it was on parade at a red carpet premiere. You need to have a lint brush on hand to remove these pests from your perfectly planned outfit. If you have a dog that sheds, you will need multiple ones.
One of the biggest offenders in the war on lint is white napkins in a restaurant. You look FABULOUS and you have just eaten at a very expensive restaurant. You get up to leave only to find your pants covered in white lint. Many restaurants now have black napkins to prevent this.
Fuzz Buster

Don’t throw away your worn-looking favorite sweater. Grab you a fuzz buster and remove those fuzz balls and your worn sweater will look new. Washing can do a number on fibers so this little tool comes in handy.
If you have a fabric couch, you will want this to remove those “ball” that occur from wear and tear. Especially if you have pets that like to scratch and make your furniture “more comfortable”.
Invisa Belt- Clear Belt

The problem is that with tops nowadays that are made of thinner poly/spandex material, you have a nice bulge where your belt buckle is. The Invisibelt is your little secret! The flexible, undetectable, 1.25-inch belt with a flat clasp lets you wear fitted tops over pants or skirts with no bulge. The instantly slimming no-bulk belt gives the support of a belt but with a flat and smooth finish.

Protect Your Feet
Metatarsal Pads

These inserts will help when you wear heels. The metatarsal pads are inserts that help cushion the bottom of your feet. They will also keep your feet from slipping forward.
Pre Heels Spray

I used Pre Heels to help get me through all the wedding festivities when I had to wear heels. They have changed up the formula and the look of the bottle. You spray this on your feet and let it sit for about 90 seconds to dry and become tacky. This is great when you don’t know where you are going to rub a blister and just want to coat everything.
I do have to tell you, I wore heels 3 days & nights in a row, it worked great for 2 but on the last day, I did rub a blister. It, of course, was the wedding. I just took my shoes off and danced the night away.
Anti Friction Stick

Forms invisible barrier between skin and your shoes
The best thing you can do is to prevent blisters on your feet. Blisters are caused by rubbing and the anti-friction stick provides a barrier. This product is also great for preventing a rash caused by “thigh rubbing” when wearing a skirt.
Blister Bandaid

If with the best prevention, sometimes it will happen. Blisters, especially on the heels of your feet. These blister bandaids for heels are cushioned and work well if you have to put those dreaded shoes back on.
