Yes, it may be technically Fall, but here in the south it is what we call “still summer with pumpkins”. So choosing what you are going to wear to a 2:30 football game when the temperature is supposed to be 93 at the game time can be challenging. Lucky for me, I am a seasoned football fan and have a distinct wardrobe of hot and cold weather Auburn University fan attire.
What I Wore To The Football Game
I am always on the lookout for orange and blue tops. If you are a football fan, you know wearing your team colors is important. With tailgates with family and friends along with receptions for the business school, I need to look cute and comfortable.
Keeping Cool At Football Game But Still Looking Cute
I chose a halter neck top in bright orange from CeCe that I had altered to fit my petite frame. For pants, I wore a pointe knit navy pant from Beyond Proper’s Traveler’s Collection. My shoe choice was all about comfort because we pretty much walked across campus and back, visiting tailgates and friends. For accessories, I chose a great navy statement necklace from Chico’s and of course an orange and blue shaker.
Taking The TShirt To The Next Level
Sundress For Cool And Comfort
When it is hot and sweaty, the best thing is to go with a cotton/lycra or poly blend dress for breathability and sweat-wicking. Just throw on a necklace or great pair of earrings and look cute and stylish.
Guys Go For The White Polo In Under Armour Fabric
Peter Millar Performace Short Sleeve Shirt With Team Emblem
For the guys, check out Peter Millar Collegiate Collection polos with sport performance fabrics for wicking moisture away from your skin. They are also SPF 50 + sun protectant for those hot days sitting in the sun, cheering on your favorite team.
Team Spirit For Pets
Emma LOVES the attention she gets from wearing her Pets First NCAA Auburn Cheerleading Outfit from Amazon.
Gracie quickly learned how to take it off, but not before we got the pics. (it is all about the pics)
Fall football season brings excitement, food, football, and fellowship. I was so excited to get to spend time with ALL my children. Love seeing what everyone is wearing. But I will be honest, looking forward to cooler weather so I will have more options on cute fall gameday outfits.
