Hot Pink To Brighten Up The Day

Hello, Darlings!

Sorry I have been absent so long. I have been in hybernation. These dreary gray rain days have gotten to me. But, the sun is shining and warmer sunny days are on the horizon. Started to pull out some of my favorite spring looks. I love pairing bright colors of sweaters and scarves with my black tops and black jeans. This is an easy way to get a high impact look.

I have a pear shaped body so the “rule of thumb” for pears is to create a balanced look by minimizing the bottom and accentuating the top half of my body. I do this by wearing my favorite Wit and Wisdom Itty Bitty Boot Cut Jeans with my Blondo Lila Waterproof Booties. Because it is still cool, I have a long sleeve tee shirt in black from Talbots to create a base layer. From there I have layered on my Harp Cashmere Ruffle Wrap in Bougainvillea Pink from Lilly Pulitzer.

Next comes the finishing touches with jewelry. Because I want to have more of the attention drawn to my face, I love statement necklaces. This necklace is the Short Gold-Tone Multi-Layer Pink Necklace from Chicos. I am always on the look for pink necklaces. This particular necklace had a matching stretch bracelet that works great in my wardrobe. Finishing off my accessory game with simple gold hoop earrings.

Spring is right around the corner! That means I will be “springing” into action with lots of cleaning, decluttering, and planting. A very active and busy season. I also have several projects on the table. It is a busy season and a busy season in life. Thanks for taking the time to share it with me.
