It is about that time… the rush to the Christmas season. Well, I am going to tell you a secret. I don’t like shopping (yes.. I know I write a blog). Mostly what I don’t like about it is the crowds. I have a real problem with large crowds and have been known to have panic attacks. The holiday season is the worst because not only are their crowds but most of the people are in a bad mood and are downright rude. So if I do venture out into the shopping world, I am one of those people who are the first in the stores. My first stop is always Target!
So this year’s first list is going to be from Target. Target has gone back to their “Tar-jay” formula. It is a WIN for us. This means great unique items at affordable prices. This year’s bonus is that Target is trying to compete with Amazon so they are offering free shipping deal soon. Right now if you are a RED card member you get free shipping on most items anyway
Target Holiday Gift Guide
I created this as a “my favorite things” from Target guide.
Something for the Home
This Kitchen Aid mixer in aqua is just too cute.
We need pampering around the holidays more than any time of the year. My top picks in this category are Dr. Teals Epson Salt Solutions, Que Bella Pamper Pack of facial masks, and Amope Pedi Perfect Wet/Dry.
Sugarfix by Baublebar for Target has a lot of bling for the season. My daughter has this necklace and gets tons of compliments. Animal print gloves because…. I love them….
Gearing Up For After The Holidays
You don’t have to think about it today, but you will make a silly New Year Resolution about getting in shape and losing weight. Be ready for all those fitness challenges and look good doing it with the Apple Watch
Comfort and JOY
For comfort, I suggest some fuzzy socks. They are the perfect gift that keeps on giving. Joy, well…. grab a cute wine mug (and your favorite wine) munch on Peppermint Bark (it is my favorite candy for the season and worth the calories) and browse Ree Drummond’s new cookbook.
